While giving birthday greetings to my stepmum, I learned that my sister had lost her dog. Rest now, scarf of Gondor
Earlier this afternoon I blocked a scarf using the Tree of Gondor chart. I started knitting it in July. Its blocked length is somewhere between 8 and 9 feet long.
I have earned my dinner tonight, lemme tell ya. -
In which my domestic side returns with a vengeance.
Yesterday I gave into the desire and made my very first Victoria sponge. (It turned out tasty, if not quite as tidy as I'd hoped.) That same evening, I got a batch of cinnamon rolls made up so I could pop them in the oven this morning for breakfast.
