What I have to say about the election
To say I'm disappointed begins to cover it, if you spread it thinly.
On a purely personal note, I'm sad/angry/ashamed that I'm still recovering from the stroke when this is happening to my country. I can't really pledge to do much of anything because there are so many things I can't do right now, and I don't know when I can do them. -

Scary stroke stories
Yesterday while researching what other stroke victims experience in their recovery, I read the story of a woman who had a stroke during her labor and delivery. Two years out, she still hasn't regained the ability to read.
I still wish my handwriting were normal, but at least I'm still literate. -

Saw my doctor today. I get another 2 weeks off here to recover from the stroke. Yay?
