Tuesday Ramble
I had a pretty good weekend. Watched a movie on Friday. Saturday went to a candle party and spent quite a bit. At least I will have candle for a few months and I also purchased 2 really cool candle holders. Once I get 1 more candle holder the new look for our bedroom is going to look awesome. Best thing about waking up early...
Is watching the outside go from dim and dark, slowly and steadily to light. It was great to watch it as I was washing dishes. -
I have been up since 6:30 am.
And I am actually liking that type of schedule. Cord said he doesn't mind it, except he hates going to bed early (10pm). I love it because I have gotten a lot done today, and I am still going. I may try to keep up this schedule more than twice a week. We will see ( Read more... ) -
Ah, Monday's
Today is wonderful, I feel great!
As of today I have completed 1/2 of my house projects. The house is starting to look like a home. It has been about 6 years of going through and getting rid of stuff, to get to this point. Today I just witenessed the coolest thing.
A dad and most likely a PM kindergartner (based on the time of day it was, 12:15pm) were waiting for the bus. The kid was playing in the sidewalk/street area (I was on a not well traveled side road), once the dad heard my car he clapped his hands and the kid went right to his side, and held his dad's hand. I survived Christian's birthday party...
Saturday January 5th, 2008 was Christian's kids birthday party. We had a total of six boys in the house. All Christian wanted to do was play video games and play outside. It can't be 2008 already!
2007 is over and I actually accomplished quite a bit. I was able to reduce our junk by half (not bad for a years worth of work), I also manage to rearrange our house a bit. Now it looks a little bigger.
For 2008 I plan on getting our new bedroom done and moved in (by summer time), cleaning out the garage completely and re working the space. I ( Read more... ) -

I am almost done with all of my holiday baking. Only 3 more batches of cookies to go, and I am done for the year.
Christmas Eve is later today, and Cord's Birthday!
