The iPod seems to have repaired itself. I did as ppsassygrl suggested and let the battery die and then recharged it. It's ok at the moment but I haven't really tried using it. I had a 2 mile run scheduled for today but am going to skip it due to the wonders of the female reproductive system. I remember hearing about a pill you can take where you'll only get ( Read more... )

A friend of mine gets the 3-month depo shot instead of taking pills, and she gets her period 4 times a year.

Most everyone I know on Depo has experienced crazy weight gain, though, and I'm not having that. Has your friend gained weight?

She's been on it for a long time, so I don't know if she did when she went on. She's pretty skinny now, but wasn't always and is fanatical about diet and exercise.

I didnt gain weight on depo, but I went through a horrible depression :-)

The pill is called Seasonale. However, you can use almost any monophasic birth control. I am taking the generic of nordette, which is the exact same formulation as Seasonale.

Hey Bex just stopping by to say hello. You wandered across my mind the other day and I hoped things were going well for you and you were still writing. I found an excellent place for writers to wander around and share their work. It's called Edit Red. (www.editred.com)

Anyway just wanted to say hello and I would like to talk to you again sometime. I miss having someone to talk writing with.

have a good one,
Rich

2 Jobs? Wow I can barely deal with the one that I have as it is! So are you still writing at all? Do you even have time to write? Enquiring minds want to know! *grins*

Not really writing at all. I haven't had much time these days although I've been flirting with the idea of trying something less splatterpunk and more of a genre mystery thing.
I'm working at the state hospital (still) and contractually at hospice (again). I'm going to shadow at a residential facility for messed up kids tomorrow this afternoon if they quote me a decent wage (calling the HR lady in the morning when I get off work).
What's going on with you?

I'm working way too hard for nowhere near enough money. I've been wanting to write but it seems my muse has abandoned me (bloody muses). I've been debating more of a fantasy quest/end of the world type story recently instead of the glorious splatterpunk of our past. Perhaps my muse will return soon so I can put thought to keyboard ( ... )
