Yesterday I found pretty much everything I needed at West Towne, THANK GOD I DON'T HAVE TO GO BACK. Goal for today: CLOTHES.  I haven't been clothes shopping in a really long time (6 months?  Dunno.) and my wardrobe is showing it.  My go-to jeans have developed the dreaded crotch hole, so I'm down to like 2 pairs of casual pants.  :p  I hate the mall.  God.

A list of observations:

1. The guys hug each other warmly and comfortably, when one of them is eliminated, and it's obviously not considered weird by anyone.  I don't remember that from before, I'm pretty sure it was always the man-hug, carefully maintaining space between the hips to avoid accidental gayness.  Now they hug ( Read more... )

Ellen Degeneres is the best thing ever to happen to American Idol. The judges were so dysfunctional, as a group, when it was Simon, Paula and Randy, because Simon completely dominated everyone. Kara helped, and now Ellen is stellar.
