So much has happened since my last (and rather miserable sounding) entry almost a year ago. Today is the start of the new school year for me. It would have been Thursday, however I'm starting a new job, so I get to start a day earlier for a new staff induction ( Read more... )

i hope it all works out for you, too :)

and let's face it, teaching is quite diversified, so if you find that going from school to school is not for you, you can change again.

that's one thing that i love about teaching; that every day is so different to the one that came before it.

the diversity has been a life saver - i've already gone from private to public and also from primary to secondary and now to instrumental... i'm liking the start of this gig ...apart from having to organise my timaetable to fit in with 15 different schools - argh!- but if that's my biggest worry, i've got it a hell of a lot easier than what i had to deal with as a classroom teacher!
