Chaffey College sucks! I got a call about a month or so ago from the financial aid office at my school. They told me that I had been overpaid in my Cal Grant B and they had just discovered it through an audit. My award letter was for the full amount, so when I received the money, I didnt know there was an issue, or I wouldnt have used it for ( Read more... )

Quick update: My meds are working pretty well to control the psoriasis, although I still have plenty of areas that are not clear, and the meds are not without their side effects. I am losing quite a bit of hair, which I think is a combo of the med and the condition. Cut my hair to try and make it look fuller, I dunno, I could end up needing a wig ( Read more... )

Well I saw an Orthopedic surgeon yesterday about my knee, and the news was not great, but it was what I was expecting. He said that my knees have a tendency to subluxate (partially dislocate ) and each time they do that, I wear some of the cartilage off that side of my kneecap. Well I just got back from the doc with my MRI results. The good news is that I don't have any tears in my meniscus or ligaments. However, there are arthritic changes in the knee, my patella (kneecap) is misaligned (doesn't sit straight) and I have synovitis.(Inflammation of the synovial membrane), this is what was causing all the swelling. Well haven't posted in a while so I feel like I should. My knee got messed up again about three and a half weeks ago. My sister came out here in late May with her kids for about five weeks, and we went to Ontario Mills so she could use some old gift cards she had. We were walking around for three or four hours. Hey Everyone, Sorry I don't post here much anymore, just been soooo busy lately. Nursing School is going ok, although it isn't without it's stressors. Most of my class bombed the test on the Gastrointestinal system. One girl got an 80%, a couple got a 75% (lowest passing score in these nursing classes) and the rest failed. I got a 91%.
