The more there is to like.

If you haven't taken an honest look yet - consider it. :-) Talk about someone who would be outside the status quo.

No, not really I'm speaking as an amature political scientists with as much academic impartiality as is possible (mostly I don't pay any attention to the primary season because Oklahoma doesn't decide anything) in this age of television he is far to mousy and lacks the charisma of command. He has the appeal of that charming very inteligent pfrofessor that you don't want telling you what to do. But then again in this day a Howard Taft or Abe Lincoln wouldn't win. It is proven that many people make their decision with heavy influences of voice posture and physical presence.

I agree that tips should not be taxed, and taxing them should be considered an outrage! And I'm not even a waitress.

I agree too - they already make far less than the minimum wage amount - tips shouldn't be held against them.

I don't know I prefer not to be taxed however honestly I make an average of $10 an hour and sometimes more even in little ole Durant. I know people who make $400 a weekend working 2-3 shifts at say Red Lobster. I was taxed when I made minimume wage as a grocery clerk and when I made 7,8,and 13 an hour at a job where the company paid me. So fairly and impartialy why shouldn't I be taxed on my tips? And in some places in California and in Las Vegas their minimum wage for servors is as much as $9 an hour plus tips. I've heard of servers in Vegas making $60,000 a year. Because the groce is so small at the end of the year I usually end up getting alot of it back any way.

Yay for Ron Paul! I hate that he is getting such terrible press coverage (though that might be part of his appeal for me). I think he's the only candidate that I'm totally comfortable with.
