Just got back from the prenatal..All those squats and lunges did shift baby from LOT to LOA (more in the middle and it's head is lined up better). I felt the shift on Monday, so the lunges and squats and walking must have helped. Baby is still high, but more likely to drop now that it's in a better position. We're 1 day overdue now..I told the midwives about my nausea, loose bowels, sleeplessness, increased contractions, and then weighed and had lost 3 lbs since last week. THey cheered..haha..So, they wanted to check to see where baby was positioned. S/he's not engaged yet, cervix is dilated slightly on the outside and none inside, 30% effaced and nice ( Read more... )

We're here. Baby is still hanging out...This is 2 weeks now that I've been in prelabor. Buuut, all of our financial things are lined out now, so there is nothing holding us back. I didn't sleep well last night, but I'm feeling relatively awake right now...I know we're getting closer, but I wanna be there. : )

Jacob's trying to induce me. He keeps grinning and saying he's ready to see his baby. I won't go into it all for TMI, but he's done everything short of castor oil to get me to start labor. We walked 3 mi last night at 11:30. I don't mind, I think it's adorable..He seemed crestfallen when I didn't burst into labor last night, though he was rather ( Read more... )

I saw my midwives yesterday...Baby's head wasn't moving alot so they said it's engaged now. I woke up this morning with my belly dropped lower, too, so I'm hoping all the walking I've been doing is paying off ( Read more... )

Last night in church, they were talking about tithing and stewardship and stuff..The topic turned slightly to teaching your kids about financial responsibility, and the little old ladies were sharing their stories about teaching their kids and grand kids (and great grandkids!) and what they do with them, etc...Well, baby did NOT like hearing about ( Read more... )

37 weeks, 1 day, and counting! Baby is still waaay down there, but no engagement yet :(. I've put on 7 lb since my 34 wk, so I'm sure baby is getting big!
