Six things post!

Yep, it's time for another one of these. For newer readers: the Six Things Post is my occasional method of reminding myself, and sharing with my friends, why this life ain't so bad - six things that have happened to me today, or within the last few days, that have made me happy. I haven't done one in a while but I've been feeling a bit tired and ( Read more... )

*love* I actually think monster-whispering might work really well for you, you've got exactly the right kind of mind for the way it works - it's easier if you're used to interacting with headcast already! Also I think you and Eve would probably get along... :)

May i ask what the commision from our favorite evil empire is? Obviously if you're under an NDA feel free to tell me to piss off in the name of Kirby.

Currently waiting on the drop day for new 40K... cautiously optimistic.

Well, I can't tell you titles and details obviously, but I don't think it can hurt to say the last job I was working on was a new Time of Legends novel. Not sure if it'd be anywhere near your domains of interest though.

And fingers crossed!

I haven't followed the new novels too closely, but the fantasy ones are my domain of interest.

still reading the old Drachenfels novel. The Nagash book are on my list.

Could you also ask the Rowing Club if they will also have something amazingly drinkable for a very northern £1.50 a pint? That would make my day. As well as the fact that it'll be my birthday.

Northern Oak have been informed this is a birthday gig. It was Iron Maiden who did the honours last year. No pressure, then!

I can attempt to find out what their prices will be, yes. In fact that's a good idea because then I can, if appropriate, put "CHEAP BEER" in big letters on the promotional material...

Eve's term, not mine! I'm just trying it out to see if it helps - which it does... :)

I'd actually want to whisper to real momsters... like Kind Ghidorah... and ask him to stomp signicant parts.of.the word

Hee - checked that wall paper link and first thing I see browsing it down - that Twilight Zone episode that utterly freaked me out as a kid! I didn't dare to have empty walls for years after that, but always had to cover them in pictures...

Wallpaper with glowing eyes seems and sounds funny though. Me and my former flatmate painted eyes like that with glow-in-the-dark paint all over our toilet walls in one apartment we lived in. It was first supposed to be a party decoration, except our guests didn't really see it as they tended to turn lights ON and not off when they went to use toilet (how come?), but in the end the eyes remained there through the whole time we lived there...

*lol* Glow in the dark eyes in the toilet might be a bit much, hehe! But I love the idea of having them in my room, it'd feel like I had lots of friendly things watching over me at night... I am weird. *grin*

I think we chose toilet because it was only room dark enough for them to show, others had big windows and streetlamps outside made sure it was never completely dark even at night and curtains closed :D
