[Celes is bored and wandering around the village and finds her interested piqued at seeing symbols being carved. She's not looking like she's going to do anything horrible to him, more curious than anything else really.] What are those for?

[When she approaches, he stops to smile at her politely.] It's a lightning symbol. I intend to use it in my attempts to develop technology here.

There are a few comforts of home that I would like access to once more, but at the moment I would at least like to lay the groundwork in place for basic circuits and such. Luceti leaves us with so little in the way of technology, so attempting to reach higher levels will require working from the ground up.

[Faize gives a small wave back, since that seems to be the friendly response.] Can I help you with anything?

[Well, isn't this curious! Lute's watching Faize as he carves symbols about. He's tempted to ask, but also rather interested in figuring it out on his own.]

[Faize continues to work for a little bit, but since he's being watched, he figured he might as well say hello.] Can I help you?

[Faize finishes up with the tree he's working on, and proceeds to move to another one. He's starting to get the impression that he's being followed.]
