Do you ban people who just hang around to read the posts but have nothing to do with them? I'm not a troll because I don't friend people I don't know so no drama, but I know that people who don't get involved might look suspicious. Just wondering really.

And I'm one of those perma-lurkers. AND! I want to thank you for the great job you all do moderating this community. You guys take it seriously and aren't the immature and snarky mods *like other communities I know* who often ban people because someone said something about whoever's boyfriend, taste in music, they think they're UGLY or just because they FEEL like it. Stuff like that makes my eyes roll so much, I'm scared they'll get stuck facing inward.

Aw, thanks. We try hard to be firm but fair.

I do a lot of community mod eyerolling myself. I just left a community today because I got a public scolding for politely suggesting a political post was off topic in a mom community. Apparently if you share the mod's politics you're never off topic, and if you don't, you shouldn't have joined in the first place.
