Well, the big meet is done did and I'm exhausted. Three long days, 23 races, 2300yds and 12 bottles of gatorade later, I'm as happy as a 5 year old at chuck-e-cheese. A lot of good swims, a couple great ones. Here's how it played out:

Yeah, there's really nothing too shnazzy to report here. Very glad to be out, but now I'm seeing how boring regular life can be. If I weren't training, I'd need some serious hobbies to keep me busy. I've come to the conclusion that additional yardage is not the progress criteria I need to use. Beginning in 2008, I'll return to the 1 million yard pace to keep me honest and focused on a regimented swim program. Outside of that, I'll worry about the kind of yardage I'm doing, not the amount.
