A quick update, in case anyone actually happens to read my journal. The Valentine's rose I gave my daughter is still around. She pressed it, labeled it, and framed it. Be interesting to see how my grandkids react to it. :-)

As a kid, I loved my youth. When my peers were saying they were six and a half or seven and three quarters, I kept my age until the day before my birthday.
