I really have nothing against you, even though you've been a brat to me and I used to whip nobleman's sons like you around the training yard. You have also obviously seen some hardship and I can't be angry with you when it looks like no one will give you a chance. Your sister ought to be at least a little gracious at the thought that you want to protect her virtue.

I honestly think you have a right to be angry after all that's happened between all of us in the past... even if a part of me believes that you deserved what you got...

But punishment on both sides have already been done by the results of the war. We all lost a lot of things because it it. If you can't see beyond the life you still have... you might lose what remains through your actions... and you might just end up miserable.
