Riight. So I implemented the dice command. All the dicerolls happen out of a number pool on the server (or locally on your machine if you aren't connected to anything). "/roll 1d20+5 for initiative" results in "[DICE] Falkreon: 1d20+5 for initiative (14) = 19". I'm actually finding it a little harder to work with than the openRPG system in practice ( Read more... )

It is now official: I don't need webspace to GM any more. Rather than dealing with the physics of file size inflation due to packaging into a character stream, I have a binary connection running alongside the first. This means when I change a miniature's picture on my screen, you actually download the miniature to your minis folder automatically ( Read more... )

I'm working on the file transfer so that miniature pictures can be shared directly from the GM's machine. I thought I'd share with you a small section of the code. Note that this is completely functioning ACTUAL code that I wrote with the intent of actually using, not some silly "code-poetry" that doesn't do anything useful.
