So Im rewriting this, for those of you who read it earlier bare with me cuz i recently took in a new spin on this.......three bruised ribs. Im no longer wistful over what may have or have not been no longer whining over failed dreams and broken promises

No one deserves to be abused in any sort of way! It doesn't sound like a good situation if you have to be around it so much. It's easy for me to say just get out, but I'm not in the situation, plus having a child complicates things.
But, for what it's worth, the less contact you have with him would be the best thing for you.
I hope you're alright though.
