I'm sorry that your grandmother is too close minded to accept your taste in appearance, but you have to accept the fact that if you choose to color your hair purple or any other variety of unnatural colors people aren't always going to welcome your "individuality" with open arms. It's look normal and be free from from ridicule, or look different and roll with the punches. It's give and take...

I compleatly understand you about your grandma. I'm sure my rents aren't as bad, however; but I know how they think that they can bitch about how your pants are too big or tight, how that black makes you look dead...and crap. but You right. Screw them. It's your body and it's your life. if you want to pierce every last inch of your body, that's your bussness. Not theirs, well it is until your 18...but that's because of the damn laws...
you know, I really respect you and look up to you because you are the way you are. I think you are one of the coolest people I know. I know you must think that is really sad, but it's the truth. It's amzing how you have changed from the little blonde girl I use to know back in the day....into the unique person you are. I solute you for that. At lest one of us isn't scared to do what they feel like. At lest you are brave enough to tell people to shove it if they don't like your outfit or hair. ^_- your a brave one my dear....your a brave one.

Your flattery is really sweet. Pardon me if this offends, but the simple act of posting this entry into her journal shows that she isn't the type to "tell people to shove it." It bothers her a lot if people think badly of her. she wants to be accepted and unique at the same time. It doesn't always work that way...
