oh this was lovely. There isn't much fic about them while they're still in highschool and the way you've done it is perfect.
"I won't tell if you don't. Besides, if we're playing by God's rules, I'm already going to Hell just for thinking it." made me smile. Characterisations are right on, imo. :)

Mm, I liked this. I like the way that Scripps is very much in his own head and that it takes thinking of Dakin being reckless to let him do the same.

Dakin and Scripps always seemed like such an odd friendship to me. One I understand, but odd just the same. I like the idea of what influences they might have on one another.
