Fuck!!!! So many talented people are dying lately. This really sucks. Jay Dee was a super talented producer/DJ behind a ton of songs for A Tribe Called Quest, Common, and Slum Village. This is terrible news, the guy was so young!!! Earliest reports are saying kidney failure...

2005 was a pretty slow year for Timbaland, so I really didn't even need to make a mixtape of my favorites -- he produced so little that every track he released could fit on one disc. I took it in to the Apple store and the diagnosis was terminal. The hard drive is completely toast, and Martin fucked up our external hard drive so ALL of my files are gone forever.
