just wanted to say that I have had a counsellor ask me the same thing that nurse asked you 'how could anybody love you with all those scars?' It was the most unhelpful comment I have ever heard, I never went back to that counsellor after that. I'm sorry somebody said that to you, it is a load of rubbish. I now have a wonderful girlfriend who loves me very much and doesn't care about my scars.

Thanks, yeah that comment certainly did hurt a lot. It has made me totally question my relationship with my gf that is already a little bit rocky. I never did talk to that lady again while I was in there.

im glad youre better sweetie.. my shrink told me that i was wasting my life and i was stupid for leaving scars and he also said something along the lines of "no one wants to see that kind of thing" x

yeah shrinks, T's, nurses, tech's, adn councellor's, can be real idiots sometimes, just you have to believe in yourself and know that there are people who can except you and that they are all idiots when they say somehting like that
