I was referred by another fan and my god, I just wanted to tell you that this fanfic made me weak in the knees and teary-eyed by the end. It's so beautiful and so stark and so painful and so inevitable and just... just... aaaah! It just hit me square in the chest! What a fantastic piece of work and what marvelous looks into both Ned and Cersei.
