So there is a blizzard here, and a severe winter weather alert is in effect according to the weather reporter on the t.v. behind me. All unnecessary travel is strongly discouraged. They keep repeating that sentence

That right there just shows the world of difference from Northwest Indiana to Southern Indiana. We barely have the ground covered. In fact, it's supposed to be all melted by tomorrow at noon.

However, strangely enough I am also inside watching my Six Feet Under DVDs. It's a small world afterall.

Cass, what is strange is that my hometown is literally 25 miles SW of there, and NO SNOW.

I would hang out if I could. However, I'm stuck in Colorado with puffy cheeks and a bad attitude...kind of like those weird creature things from Green Day's "Basketcase" video...

I made coffee and a pie to keep me warm and sane here in Valpo. It feels like cabin fever when there is this much snow! God bless SFU, arguably my favorite show. Nice pics, better than mine :)

I just got back from Las Vegas and the weather was a little too nice for right before Christmas. A good winter should make you suffer a little. God bless the Midwest.
