Does anyone have an electronic copy of the Book of Exalted Deeds (3rd ed D&D supplement)?

Or, barring that, does anyone have a write-up of the Vow of Poverty from that book?

gimme a minute... Larry the Bruce used that for his monk... it's freakin' broken. I'll see if I can find and transpose it for you.

Don't do it. You'll regret it later. :D

The way I understand it, it makes you badass and broken at lower levels, but doesn't hold up in the high level game. The bonuses don't stack up against the lack of the sort of magic items everyone else has collected by the time you hit the higher levels.

At later levels you receive the equivalent of a 12 points to distribute through three stats, damage reduction, extra damage versus the opposite of your alignment, fast healing, and you no longer have to eat, sleep, or breath.

BROKEN.

Oh, also AC bonuses to make up from your lack of armor. Essentially, by level 20 you have twice the stat points as anyone else and make up for the lack of magical gear with innate abilities.

The text has already been included, but I'll say that I don't allow that feat in games I run.

It's just too... hmmm, can't find just the right word at the moment, so I'll just go with stupid. Yeah, it's stupid.
