What's up with the tube up Dean's nose? Couldn't they just give him a normal oxygen mask? When you asked, I was tempted to pull out my Critical Care notes from Therapeutics (we briefly covered that sort of thing), but then I realized that TV people don't CARE about medical reasons. My guess is that they wanted Dean to do the coughing/hacking/whatever at the end when he wakes up (which wouldn't be as pronounced with just a plain old oxygen mask, since there's nothing stuck down your throat) and that they wanted to show off more of Jensen's pretty face. Plus, it's easier for Jensen to breath normally this way, I'd think. With an oxygen mask, his mouth and nose are both covered up, so they'd actually have to be running the oxygen machine. And that would also add more noise to the takes which may need to be filtered out.
I actually meant more something like this kind of oxygenmask. But like the TV people I don't actually know anything about medicine, I just thought it was odd, especially since there's also a tube down his throath. :)
I don't know, I still feel that John isn't completely gone. Call me crazy and I might be, but I just think he'll be back. I don't know, he made a bargain with a demon, we don't know what kind, so who knows? I don't know, I still feel like that. He could've told Dean something related to that.
And I wonder if John said goodbye to Dean. Either he told him the above what I mentioned or, and very more likely, he just told him something about Sam. I don't think he really said his goodbye.
I loved the scenes between Dean and Sam. All too awesome.
And I agree with you about the girl/reaper. I felt like; no, not again. But then she turned out to be the reaper, which was a nice swift. Pretty awesome.
I'm so glad I wasn't spoiled for this episode. Not much anyway :D

Being a BSG newbie (loving it so far by the way) I was like ohhhhhhh AMAZING

I saw the Veronica Mars episode and laughed at the BSG reference, which by the way, so Michael Muhney's (Sheriff Lamb) influence since he actually watches BSG! I haven't seen GG yet, I am so far behind on that show! I haven't seen anything since the end of season 5, even though their already showing season 6 here, I just can't bring myself to watch it. I heard so many negative things about season 6 (and thus spoiled terribly myself for it), but I heard good things so far season 7 so I might just download season 6 and watch them over a long weekend or something. Anyway, I'm glad TJ is finally doing something interesting like watching BSG. :P
And, and, yay for a new BSG convert!! (Did you get in to that episode comm yet? Otherwise I'll go see if I can do something to get you in faster, if you'd like.)

I don't know if anyone's answered your one question up there yes, but if not, here's my response to the one about John's promise: Remember, he promised not to hunt the demon. And in all truth, he didn't. He summoned it, and then struck a deal. So, despite the fact that him dying probably hurt the boys more than him hunting it, I think he still kept his promise. :P
