akjshajkdjaskd oh god thank you. It hurt me so much to write him like that, but in my head he wouldn't react in any other way - and he would be so so angry, and so so deliberately cruel because of it.

I felt like it had to be him that came back, and immediately. If it had been an older him, it wouldn't have felt the same - it would have read as false contrition, you know?

Oh. My. God. This was brilliant. Seriously. All the feelings that got sort of in the way of smut (which is important, but not necessarily the most important.. sometimes) made this epic. I have always wondered how the Doctor would react to Rory not coming back with River in tow when he sent for her. Then all the feelings and just.. guh.

As always, your head canon manages to fit everything (including every excuse for sexy times) in so damn perfectly. I love it.

AMAZING!! This is now my head canon. So much angst at the beginning and middle, you played it our just I think it would have been. And then the wonderful, hot, gorgeous sex. You win everything!
