BDE Info-Post 4: Timeline
So, who wants to know what's going down on what day of the BDE? Well, this is the post for you!
Monday 7/27
FH: Life is normal, go to class! Psychics, precogs and other sensitives can have vague disturbing 'something is Wrong' feelings or dreams at the time that the call comes through.
AU Fandom: The AU Fandom cry for help establishy post goes up.
Tuesday 7/28
FH: The spell reaches mainstream Fandom, but because it was so low powered due to the dampening, instead of grabbing reinforcements, it can only snag their minds, and at first only weakly. A few citizens (those crossing over) begin having narcoleptic episodes for 5 - 10 minutes at a time, during which they have brief glimpses of the daily life of their AU selves, which seem like dreams to them. These naps can happen anywhere and anytime!
AU Fandom: Two posts will go up at fh_wishverse (one for the day, one for the night) in which citizens of AU Fandom, both human and vampire, can go about their daily business and generally play the way the Nemesis characters did on Nemesis Island. Survivors react to the questions about whether the spell worked, vampires carry on as usual, having a grand old time.
Wednesday 7/29
FH: Crossover characters will start having longer naps, up to half an hour at a time. Dream/visions of what their AU counterpart sees become more prominent. If it starts to alarm them, they might visit the clinic, but at this point there's nothing visibly harmful.
AU Fandom: Humans and vampires go about their business over in the Day/Night posts in the fh_wishverse comm.
Thursday 7/30
FH: Crossover characters find themselves taking 2 hour random naps throughout the day with those dream-like visions of their AU counterpart. As before, they can fall asleep anywhere, anytime, unable to wake up for 2 hours. When they do wake up, it will feel like they weren't asleep at all.
AU Fandom: Humans and vampires go about their business over in the Day/Night posts in the fh_wishverse comm.
Friday 7/31
FH: When crossover characters fall asleep today, they stay asleep for good wherever they are (in class, the library, at a campfire, in bed, etc.).
The Clinic staff will be notified and the sleepers will be carefully brought to Town Hall.
A radio announcement will be made that something is happening to clue in those who want to know and haven't witnessed any of the odd sleeping. Any of the people who'd just been taking a lot of naps earlier in the week who haven't fallen asleep yet today will be encouraged to come to Town Hall as a precaution.
Research will begin with the gathering of people who want to help.
AU Fandom: The crossover characters will wake up in AUF in the bodies of their counterparts as either survivor or vampire, utilizing the Day and Night posts over at fh_wishverse.
AUF characters not replaced will naturally be reacting to the differences in their friends/enemies and the crazy people who are likely telling them they don't belong in this world and want to go home now, kthanx.
Survivor team realizes that um, okay, maybe we did this with that spell? Sorry!
Saturday 8/1
FH: The few remaining crossover characters go comatose today. The research team continues to work to figure out what's going on, and starts piecing some details together, through interviews with the remaining narcoleptics and people who die in AU Fandom about what they've seen.
Library research teams will meet and figure some important things out! Hopefully in time to rush the info to the remaining crossover characters before they fall asleep for good!
AU Fandom: Knowing that killing all the vampires will end the spell that brought over the alternate consciousness, AU and crossover survivors work to discover some way of killing them all.
And naturally, there are some skirmishes in the meantime. All of this happening in the two Day/Night posts over at fh_wishverse. Any crossover characters who die/are turned will wake up back in their bodies in Fandom.
Sunday 8/2
FH: Everyone's pretty much waiting on pins and needles here, with nothing to do but watch people sleep. They'll get reports back from anyone who gets killed in AU-land and wakes up, but there's no real way to get any more info over to the other side, though the magical types are welcome to try.
In the evening, the final non-dead sleepers awaken all at once.
AU Fandom: Big damn fight in the Day post at fh_wishverse. Survivors vs. Vampires! Any crossover characters that die will wake up back home in Fandom as things progress. There'll be an area for general fighting and a specific finale team with a mission, for which there'll be sign-ups.
A note on fh_wishverse:
Each day, two main posts will go up with OCD. One for Day, one for Night. All your main action should be happening in the Day/Night posts, so if we get to the point of Browser Death in terms of excessive comment count, we'll put up another set of posts.
Should you require private/NWS-type action, that should happen in your character's AU journal and then you can link it in the Day or Night OCD as is applicable.
