Had no idea you had another journal (at least I don't think I had, my middle-aged brain might be deceiving me) so have friended that.

Well I hadn't really used it but will be doing so now. For the next few days I shall be switching between the two (and getting terribly confused!LOL)

Contests are never good for the creative impulse, in my experience, as they rely upon the lowest common denominator to get votes. I have always really liked your creations, but when you start to feel like it is time to move on, that's what you have to do. Inspiration comes and goes, but creativity will always be there, so I have no doubt you will pick up your brush (so to speak) again. It may not be within this particular narrow framework, but I am sure it will be great. Big ♥.

I'm sorry to hear you are feeling down about your icons and wallpapers. I think they are absolutely fantastic, but if it's not making you happy then that's what's important. It is nice that they will be here for us to look at when we need a lift!
