Dear friends, I just wanted to let you know that the reason I haven't been on LJ is because I have been sick and in the hospital for a month..It is all heart related, I have congestive heart failure, but am doing better, and taking the right meds now to help. I am staying at my mother's now, and will try and get on here more often...((Hugs))

So I started taking a new medication called licinopril on the 20th of July..Last night I noticed I have jaundice @ my eyes and under my tongue....I have put in a call for the GP Doctor, who is out of the office till Monday, so I called my cardiologist and they are going to get the results for me, Hopefully to fax them to me and or the Dallas ( Read more... )

I went to the doctor in Dallas and got a good report, everything is alright, but I am still worried about the hemoglobin getting too high and needing a phlebotomy. New doctor acts like those are over, who knows, if I get to feeling bad I will just go get one...Things here are unchanged, Hubby still not looking for a job, and he won't be now ( Read more... )

Just a quick update of the situation here..My feet and ankles are still swelling, I am still on lasix and i am now propping my feet up for hours at a time to keep the fluid down.  I have poison ivy on my right knee, it is itching like I don't know what!!  Anyone have any suggestions on how to get rid of it ( Read more... )

Just a quick report on me..Last Monday on 5/5/2014 I had to go to the Dr.  I was in pain around my stomach, and so I went to be checked.  I was placed in the hospital that day. I stayed 6 days in the hospital before they transferred me to Dallas Heart Hospital on Sunday afternoon.   I am retaining fluid..Please pray for me.. I need lasix to keep ( Read more... )
