Hey, the lights are on!

Woke up this morning to my son knocking on the bedroom door. ( The power was out! )

geesh, that's no fun! :D We had those same winds overnight. Luckily our power was still on since we had to wake up early for several of my relatives to catch a plane! :)

A more-than-usually adventurous Sunday for me. I read Miss Rose is gone home - I bet you miss her, but I also bet you're enjoying the end of the bustle.

I'm going to visit Sophie tomorrow, yay! But after that, things should get back to a regular routine again! :) But I do miss Miss Rose indeed!

I'm so glad I have a fireplace. Whew, what a struggle!

We have a fireplace too, but it hasn't been lit in a long while, and we don't have wood. As a matter of fact, the last time we had the chimney cleaned, there was a squirrel living in there.

Sundays are supposed to be for decadent vegging before going back to work. Didn't turn out that way this time. (And now I can't sleep. I'm going to be really tired tomorrow at work.)

Glad to hear your power came back on! We were west of you and had the windstorm come through about 4 a.m. It was wild! Didn't knock out power to the in-laws, but it did knock down part of their backyard fence.

Loved the blow by blow on the battery fix.

Are you back home yet? It's going to snow another 2-4" tonight, and get windy again. There are many times I wonder why I still live in this state, when I hate the weather from November to March.

And as for the battery, there are just some days when nothing will come easily.

You've had a particularly rough December for weather, that's for sure. Maybe January and Feb will be mild and even things out.

Ever since we moved to Georgia we keep saying, why did we stick it out up north for so long?
