I haven't done Flickr yet. I don't have an account and their servers are down right now, so it won't let me make one. Hopefully tomorrow, but being a weekend, maybe monday.
I am quite curious about the rest of the blocks. I've bought extra of my sky and ground fabrics, hoping to use them in more than one block to unify whatever other patterns they come up with. I'm really hoping for a glorious Smaug - but I wonder if they're going to wait until some Hobbit movie design elements leak out to do that one? Dwarves, Bag End, the Ring, trees with butterflies at the top, the lonely mountain, Rivendell, the Arkenstone, trolls, Beorn's sheep, the Thrush, a spider? Hopefully not a goblin.
Yes it does, come to think of it. It's not a great picture because noplace in my house is there enough light coming in a window to take a better one. Maybe I should have taped it up on a window and let the light shine through!
I was pleased to find a group that's mixing two geeky pleasures of mine - Tolkien and fabric arts. I'm quite curious to see what other blocks they've designed - and I'm hoping for a tremendous Smaug in there somewhere.
When I look at this, I hear lines from the verse Frodo made up in Lorien: When evening in the Shire was grey his footsteps on the Hill were heard; before the dawn he went away on journey long without a word.

I love your fabric choices.
I had trouble with getting mine's staff to line up too. And at least yours came out straight around the edges!
I wonder what November's block will be! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for something like maybe Bag End!
(BTW: would you cross-post it at lotr_crafts, too? Pretty please!)

I have some more of the sky and ground fabric I used, but not a lot, because I bought it with something a little different in mind.
*grin* This is so exciting! I'm glad someone else on my flist is doing it too!
