At a guess, I would say this is the east side of the bridge, looking towards Marin. Probably a little south of the middle, judging by the arc of the suspension cable. But I live in Colorado and have only been to SF one time for two days, so I'm probably full of crap.

I'm in SF, so could check some time, but keep in mind that yellow note is temporary, and we don't know how old this photo is.

And I disagree with fantasy_goat. It's not so hard to believe this is real.

doesn't the golden gate bridge have the highest rate of jumpers in the world? i know a documentary was recently made exclusively from film footage of people jumping off this bridge, anyway. so this might actually exist.
