I'm in the same boat with range having shrunk, especially in the high soprano range between being out of real singing and two kids. That said, the more I do sing, even a bit, the more it regains range. In the meantime, my kids still want songs at bedtime, strangers at services tell me I sound like an angel. (I don't believe them, but it's a good sign on the relative quality of the sound.)

I'm still working to get under better control so the weight loss can happen. Kudos to you for getting health back in order! That's a tough task with two little ones and a job and life. :)

Let em introduce you to SAVERS! (https://www.savers.com/) because it will be great for the kids and as someone whose clothing is changing on her, I hear your problem. I have taken my old clothes and turned them into new ones (yes, you donate old ones and can get a discount on new ones!)

Congrats on the singing. I didn't know our voices had such plasticity. this singing thing is all new to me still.
