Do you ever watch "Dinner: Impossible" and think, five minute before the end of the show, "he's so screwed! He'll never get it all done," and then are amazed when he does? Due to a change in others' availability, we are looking for childcare 2-4 afternoons a week (not Mondays) 2-4 hours per day depending on the number of days, and somewhere between 1:30-5:30 on WF and a little more flexible on TR, depending on what the plan ends up being with 3pm school pickup for the older one. Do you have suggestions for teaching preschoolers about tzedakah (charity, righteous giving, etc.)? They seem very receptive to it and are in charge of bringing change for the tzedakah boxes in the classrooms at school on Friday. Lately, I have been using "classic" recipes almost always when I go to cook something. I love that I have such a full repertoire of them now. It makes me wish for the day that I can give the kids the cookbook of all the "family recipes". Except I have no idea what that will look like. Can anyone explain to me what a "Cadillac health insurance policy" is in the current health care debate? This is the kind of insurance that some of the proposed bills want to tax. We are starting a preliminary review of primary school options for the kids. I realized this evening that I have strong opinions on what makes a great university, high school, and even preschool, but don't have any good ideas on what makes a good primary school.
