Now favorite dessert "splurge" that isn't, really:

Frozen strawberries (unsweetened) heated in a bowl until soupy and hot and then smooshed up. Scoop some Ben&Jerry's chocolate brownie frozen yogurt on top so it starts melting. Yum! I'd been a little unhappy with the B&J brownie frozen yogurt lately, but this completely redeems it.

Our external hard drive failed a while back. We would like to get the four months of short videos we thought were backed up (but weren't) off the drive if possible. Does anyone have recommendations for a company to use or avoid?

I found a recipe for chocolate souffle for two that you can put in the fridge until you are ready to bake it, and is trivially dairy-free. Hmmmm. :)

Tonight's dinner was a success, despite not really being sure what I was going to do almost up to when I was actually cooking.

Great morning. We forgot to thaw out most of the ingredients for our usual breakfasts, so we tried out the new "insta-pancake" can. It's (dairy-free!) pancake batter in a "Reddi-Whip"-type can. You spray out what you need for a pancake on the griddle and save the rest for later. They get a little gummy if you make all of them and then start in on ( Read more... )
