father of the flower

The ground stretches towards the yawning deep in a defiantly eerie blue-white swathe as I inch my head, translucent crystals falling like diamond dust, from the charred rock beneath my cooling form. Svarog's breath comes crisp and sharp as toothed steel in swift procession from beyond the black veil of the west, keening and carrying it's grim ( Read more... )

Hehe...it's weird, I had a friend ask me the exact same question just the other day.

No, not really. My entries are really just my lj, except I filter my day-to-day through the lens of the fictional world I've created...and even then I'm not sure just how fictional the world I've created is. So, for example, my taxes might become a black void monster or something along those lines.

I've toyed with the idea of turning into a journal based story to be published in some kind of way. I suspect I'd have an aweful lot of editing and type correction to do, but I have to admit I found the idea intriguing.

I write infrequently because I'm lazy and I don't always have the time convenient to sit down for a few hours and write more (since it takes me that long to get the stuff out...I sit down with two or three lines in my head or two or three concepts ni my head and then ad lib the rest.

Thanks. There really isn't all that much insipiration. I just write about my life, stuff that comes up in my day-to-day, and then filter it through a different world.

so olivia, the genius girl that she is, has informed me that you have a new saturday night. I've been looking for a place to dance/perform.....you have a once in a while cabaret night on saturdays...so i got to thinking, would you be open to the idea of a saturday night here or there (or even more regularly if you/they wanted), i could teach an early hour of bellydance to anyone who wanted to join, could do a little performance, then your set could start more or less on time?
Should we see what the crowd would think of such an idea? Olivia tells me the new place has mirrors...which are perfect for teaching people dance.

Anyway i never come out anymore and i miss you kids.

Just a wee though.
I don't know.

PS. I LOVE that your taxes are a big black void monster....I suspect mine would be too if owned something or had an income.

Hehe, yeah, well I just don't like saying "so, the government is after me for back taxes, blah blah blah". It just strikes me as terribly banal. Yeah, void monsters are better.

The night hasn't started yet, and I'm not 100% that it's going to be at that place either, so we'll see. The plan was to start the night in March, but now there's talk of another venue so that has to be discussed and pondered a little before we make any kind of commitement. The location of the second place is better, but I think the deal offered might be better at the first place.

Either way I wouldn't mind you working some kind of bellydancing thing in there somehow, although the second place has an existing crowd and it's kind of a mainstreamy eastend pub kinda crowd so that might be kinda creepy for you and your bellydancing devotees, but then again I could just be the pessimist here. I'm all into doing something that's a little different [or a lot different for that matter] so I'm all down with that.

I can feel the seed within me.

Hopefully it won't be nine months before you give birth to a new post.
