So, it's recently come to light that most of the people in my life are at odds with me regarding the end of my relationship with Alana and vice versa. Obviously, if I had realized what the repercussions of that last post I had made (it is now gone) would have been, I would have never made a post in the first place

Hey man al I can say is love can you make you do crazy things, it really can. It blinds you from normal thoughts, and rationality. Taking this into account it is only logical that when things don’t go your way, when you are pushing your love so hard towards another and not getting your desired response that you act out irrationally (LJ posts throwing that lighter) This being said however true love would transcend those stupid little immature outbursts. It’s ok to make mistakes in the relationship field, I’m sure she did some things to piss you off too. From my limited knowledge on the situation I have to say that ether she didn’t really feel as strongly for you as what you may have thought, or that she was the close minded one in not looking past those minor occurrences that were more than likely not caused by anger or immaturity but by blinding love. Its going to hurt for a while there is no getting around that, when I Broke up with Kristin I was in a state of depression for like 2 months, but it will pass. Just remember that

I feel a little weird commenting on this, seeing as I'm in no way involved and we don't know each other very well, but I know that it's hard to admit your mistakes and accept it when you've done things wrong, which is what you've done here. It seems like you've made a very genuine apology, which I believe is deserving of some respect. I hope things work out.
