The Indian Head Bob. It's a gesture of acknowledgement. I would like to call it a nod, but there isn't really any up-down or side-to-side motion. There's no distinction, no acute juncture of change that makes it clear as to what exactly you are feeling, or what exactly you are trying to say with the head movement. Last night i went to this concert held at the Alliance Francaise. It was a show entitled "French Kiss" and it was a french jazzy, new wavey trio.... very relaxing.... and ended with this punkish, rock, alternative french band fronted by this leather clad vixen... and sandwiched in the middle was a South Indian band... sorta traditional Carnatic ( Read more... )
