Friday, I found out that one of my former coworkers' had a cousin killed in a botched carjacking. Not because of bravery, but because they were taking too long to take the anti-theft device off of the car.
Saturday Morning, I got a call from mom telling me that my brother's youngest (under age 2) is in the hospital with pneumonia.

Procrastination, weekend style
Since I have a massive Headache of Doom (yay storm weather moving in...) I am not up to homework. That's my excuse du jour, and I'm sticking to it.
Laundry load #1 is in the dryer, #1 is up to put away, #2 in the dryer, #3 in the wash. Not too bad for 9:45.

Kate's birthday
My 'kids' are the most spoiled children ever.
I picked up for Kate's birthday:
* Winnie-the-Pooh bathtime playhouse. Complete with water wheel and slide for the Pooh characters.
* A "Littlest Pet Shop" board game, that does not require any reading.
