[Rin will get to watch Arf's hackles raise even more, the two sections of her hair rising somewhat off her back as she starts to growl in the back of her throat.

The clerk swipes at her with the broom and the familiar catches it in her hand. Now the clerk starts tugging on it, yelling at the dog to let go.]

[Arf then snaps the broom in half and throws her half on the ground.]

[Arf smiles gently down at the girl and shakes her head.]

No, little one, I'm just waiting for a friend. But if you check the mail you might have a letter waiting for you.

I think it depends on the letter. All the ones my master and I have received have all been good.

[Apparently the clerk is now more worried about Rider's apparent health and delusions than the 'dog'. Who just jerked the broom out of the clerk's grasp.]

[OOF SUDDEN HUG. Fate's surprised, but a wide smile crosses her face when she sees just who hugged her.]
