I'm not looking for an acquittal. I'm looking for an answer as to whether or not she should be supported by the Atheneum in her claims of innocence.
At present the evidence is tenuous at best. There's a good chance she could go free, but if she was guilty, then we'll need to deal with her on our own terms.
I was there while Mary was making the initial investigation. Since the first witness' statement said Devin was asleep next to the body when found, that's pretty good evidence for her side of things. Judges and juries like it when things follow logically, and taking a nap next to the body of your victim is NOT logical.
However, we desperately need to know what happened for real before we can manipulate the evidence into something that will make sense for a jury while keeping the Tales out of it. I am loathe to suggest this, since it's made it difficult for me, but is there not a magical item that you, Noah or Patricia might be able to utilize to that end?
Her arraignment is tomorrow at 10:30. We pulled a pretty understanding judge for it thankfully. I am hoping to get her bail…which really shouldn't be hard with out a murder weapon.
No, I am going to free her under the banner she is innocent…because she is. I must also inform you, Jacob, if you interfere too much in my case and jeopardize it, I will have your head.
This isn't really my side of things; the victim was fully grown and didn't show any signs of having been raped. I'll keep an ear out, but I can't promise anything.

Something with a little pizazz to spice up the monotonous life if a PI.

You're not going to try for insanity? It wouldn't be a far stretch. I'd be a character witness.
