Ready for nit picks?

Very excited about these novels coming out. Will be first in line to buy them. I have a question; allot of the time in TV tie-in novels, the authors rewrite history or retcon certain aspects of characters' lives/events, much to the frustration of fans. How faithful to the story and characters will you be? I suppose the real question is- do you really know Fringe?

I have been working closely with Bad Robot every step of the way, since these are officially sanctioned tie-ins and, once published, will be considered cannon. Of course, there's always room for nit-picking no matter how careful we are, but I did my best to stay true to the spirit of the show and I hope fans will enjoy reading the books as much as I have enjoyed writing them.
Also FYI, because these books are set before the start of the first season, they are based on the original timeline and not the later, altered timeline.
I just want to say, welcome to the Fringedom and I am thrilled that a writer with style will be writing our tie-in novels. I can't wait to check out your previous novels too.
Every fan I have heard from about the books is very excited by the subject matter.
