I'm afraid my knowledge is as limited as yours, Dimitri. From what I remember, I fell asleep in Violet City and woke the very next day in New Bark Town, where I originally began this strange adventure.

I've been told by my companions, however, that I've been missing for weeks. It's even possible that I may have returned to London. Unfortunately, I don't remember ever leaving Johto.

Information on how Pokémon work is oddly limited. All I can tell you about evolution is what any other trainer would be able to tell you: it is a sort of maturing process that, in most cases, occurs when a Pokémon has reached a certain level. I know some evolve upon contact with special stones, and... I have heard of happiness having some influence on others.

As for Goldenrod, it is a fairly large city compared to the other ones I have seen in Johto. There is, however, a thick forest on the way there, and it is inhabited by some poisonous Pokémon, so some caution is advised.
