I offered to translate _______'s letter for tupperwarecrisp, so here it is. :) I DIDN'T HAVE HUBERT IN MY PARTY sob so I don't know what his lines are (assuming this request is still available by the time you get him on your party).

edit: in retrospect I probably should have translated the (IN SECRET, OF COURSE) thing more literally, but I'm not sure how much different "just in secret, though" is from "in secret, of course" LOL

... I AM VERY GLAD TO KNOW THAT I AM NOT CRAZY FOR THINKING THAT RICHARD IS VERY, VERY GAY FOR ASBEL. Seriously, man, those two... I mean, there's even that skit where Pascal announces that the reason Sophie and Richard aren't getting along must be because she's jealous of Richard and Asbel being all flirty with each other. I got that skit and just died laughing. (And then the next one for the letter in a bottle Discovery where they're talking and she decides they need to be separated, fff.)

God, I love that game. I need to get off my ass and play more of it.

OH ALSO how do you trigger this quest? I was looking through the subevents section of the Japanese Graces wiki and for some reason couldn't find it. @_@

OHWHSJH I remember very distinctly that I got those skits, but I can't recall what went on in them for the life of me. 8( I just remember Pascal saying those things in a very general sort of way. XD; BUT THEN I was pretty much speeding through that section of the game, orz AND NO YOU ARE NOT CRAZY. XD I think we have all pretty much agreed that their love is 100% canon. NAMCO DIDN'T EVEN TRY HIDING THE GAY, I DON'T EVEN--

If it helps, I was around 20h into the game when I noticed this quest was added to my requests roster. I don't remember exactly what was going on, but a Strata soldier wouldn't let me leave Lhant via the south exit? (I loaded an old save to get the material to translate, so I don't recall, sorry!)

IT'S AS BAD AS EMIL AND RICHTER, REALLY. But yeah, the skits are in Gralsyde or however the hell you spell it in English (Tales font whyyyyy, I can barely read the English on my HDTV) and I just laughed and laughed. See, I'm taking forever because I have an obsessive desire to get titles up to level 5 as soon as I can, so I spend a lot of time just grinding titles. I'm 20-some hours in and I just made it to Strata... now I get to go find out what's up with the Rockgagan, yay.

... you know, I don't even think I've figured out how to do quests beyond the inn ones (my first response to that was "OH GOD IT'S THE STAR OCEAN 4 SHOP QUESTS ALL OVER AGAIN"). I've just been title-grinding and studying Richard's speech patterns and stuff because OH GOD I WANT TO RP HIM SO BADLYYYY but I'm not allowed to in my primary game yet.

I'VE HEARD STORIES ABOUT EMIL AND RICHTER but I've also been warned not to play that game by several people; apparently the fanservice is great, but simply not worth it. XD; I still haven't finished played much of any of the Fujishima PS2 games despite owning them for years. @_@ I'VE TRIED SYMPHONIA LIKE FOUR TIMES BUT I JUST CAN'T DO IT ( ... )
