I'm manning the box-office at around 8:00pm, when three jovial ladies come by and buy three tickets to see the up-beat movie about Nazis pillaging artwork. Ah, wow. It's one of those times where I don't know what my heart is doing. I'm all twitchy, waking up from a bit early sleep in all my clothes. The second hand on my watch seems to be ticking too fast along with my heart at 58 beats per what was supposed to be a minute. There is an unnamed unnatural outcropping of rock, formed decades ago when a hill was blasted and scraped to make gravel. It now sits upon a slope of loose red metamorphic rock. Genocide of the Hmong in Laos
Instead of entrapping their would-be liberators, the US should perhaps stand up for the remaining Hmong who supported the US in Viet Nam war, and who are still being hunted and killed outright in Laos. One of Northern California's top newspapers, the Sacramento Bee, published this article, about how a local school is being renamed by the school board, due to Charles Goathe's support of the eugenics movement of the era.
