So, I've got a more personal angle on the whole Lebanon thing.
My friend Thumper (who used to call GC back in the day) got married a few years back to a wonderful woman from Beirut, Lebanon. They have 3 children together, the youngest just two weeks old.

"Think: Tree", is what Striderdave and I said before attempting to create our latest YouTube video.
First we had to demolish the church, and in it's place we grew a "tree".
Well, it's either a tree or a mushroom cloud, but that's all in the eye of the beholder. -

Why is there so much sexual angst in anime?
According to this article, the Japanese have the lowest (25.7 percent) rate of satisfaction with their sex lives of all surveyed countries. The article states that relationships based on equality are much more likely to satisfy everyone involved.

Empathy? Bah, who needs it?
The results of this quiz that's going around surprised me.
Although it says "empath" in the title, the description makes me think I'm more of an anti-empath. Isn't empathy supposed to be about understanding the feelings of others?
Instead this makes me think I'm more of a reality-pusher. The first taste is free, my friends. :)
