Argh!
I can't believe how expensive it has become for me to travel home from uni! I know I normally book about 3 months in advance, but I didn't find out the dates for my exams until a few weeks ago. I know I can get a train ticket for just over £10, but this time (bear in mind it is still a month in advance, and exactly the same ticket) it cost me about ( Read more... ) -

I'm really annoyed at the moment- we have an ant infestation in the kitchen, and our new landlady isn't answering the phone. Just great! So we'll have to wait until tomorrow to get that sorted ( Read more... ) -
Rugby- England Vs Italy
I have just been watching the 6 Nations Rugby in the Uni library (online, with my headphones attached so as not to disturb other people), and I have to say it was very funny. Not the fact that the second half was appauling from England's point of view, but the comentry that went along with it.

I can't believe it. Heath Ledger has died. He was only 28.

Firearms
Wow, I have just had possibly the coolest lecture in the world (bearing in mind I sat through a lecture on sex workers earlier in the day). We had a lecture on firearms from the 'gun man' (one of the forensic firearms experts in the area). Although this in itself is cool, he brought with him some examples of different types of guns. I'm so bored at the moment- last Monday I had a sore throat, and I thought that that was bad enough. I went to the doctors on Wednesday after it had gotten worse, only to be told that it was a viral infection and the most I could do about it was to take some paracetamol and rest. I really shouldn't shout at the TV when watching the Rugby- now my throat is sore!
I'm glad that England are through to the Rugby World Cup finals, but it was so tense yesterday. Today I am rooting for South Africa, although Argentina are good.
