Foot and Mouth Disease

A new outbreak of Foot and Mouth disease has occurred, and it happens to be where I live :( Especially after the losses from farmers caused by the floods (causing a rise in food prices), this is REALLY not needed. All the farmer's animals will have to be slaughtered, and there is an exclusion zone around the area. If it is anything like last time,

Things aren't too bad at the moment. It seems we are within the 10km surveillance zone, so we are listening to the local radio station for updates, but hopefully, as long as we don't enter the exclusion zone (which is under 2km away) we should be ok.

We will know more later, when tests have been taken out and whether or not it is an isolated incident.

Urgh! It's been on the news now... how it might have been accidently released from a testing facility!!! Stupid scientists!!!
