Well, it is the last week of lectures before the Christmas break, and the time when we get the marks for the assignments that we did earlier in the semester. I found out that I got a first for my criminology essay on 'authoritarian statism'. Now I just need to do lots of revision over the break and make sure I get a good mark in the exam. I've had the stitches taken out of my thumb now, but it still doesn't look very pretty. I'll probably have a massive scar there when It's all healed.

I've done something incredibly stupid!

I was making a hollow book when my hand slipped and I managed to slice a deep gash in my left (luckily) thumb. A lot of blood came pouring out and I was taken to hospital to make sure that I hadn't cut through anything important, and to get it stitched up. I'm really tired now, seeing as I was up until 3:30am last night writing a conclusion for my essay.
