Lets see, dug and refilled holes, with ten tons of beautiful mulchy dirt and moved all of it into new gardens and beds for apples, pears, blueberries, grapes, lilacs, butterfly garden, second tier front garden. Rain for two days now, am very happy, my plants are loving it.

Am almost done with the 10 ton dirt pile, wow, hard to belive I moved all that dirt, but I could use another 10 tons!

First the good news about Bear~he just bought two acres in a small off grid community in the Daniel Boon National Forest in Kentucky. We have a friend of a friend who bought land there a few years ago. So he went and fell in love with it. I got ten tons of good dirt some weeks back, you would think ten tons would be allot but it was just a dump truck load for 200$. Of course I have to screen it to get the roots and small rocks out. So I build my own screen and have been having 'tons' of fun. But it was the easiet way to go as the soil here is clay and rock. Actually I truly do enjoy ( Read more... )
